NO-SHOW & LATE CANCELLATION POLICY

At My Place For Medical, our goal is to provide timely care to all our patients. Missed appointments or late cancellations prevent us from serving others who need medical care.

When an appointment is scheduled, that time is reserved just for you. Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations limit our ability to accommodate other patients—some of whom may have urgent medical needs.

Definitions:

• A No-Show is missing a scheduled appointment without notifying us.

• A Late Cancellation is canceling an appointment without at least:

  • 24 hours notice for standard office visits.

  • 72 hours notice for scheduled procedures.

Courtesy Reminders:

• We send appointment reminders by text and/or email 5 days before your scheduled visit. Please use this opportunity to confirm, cancel, or reschedule if needed.

• To Cancel or Reschedule please Call or Text 401-363-6032.

• Cancellations via Patient Portal will automatically incur charges if cancelled within the 24 hour period. 

Policy:

This policy applies to all patients who schedule appointments with us.

Effective immediately:

• Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a $35 fee.

We ask that all cancellations or rescheduling be made by phone or text at least 24 to 72 hours in advance, depending on the appointment type.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide high-quality care for all patients in a timely manner.
